FAQ
- Guests must be 18 years or older to participate individually. Minors between the ages of 8-17 must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older, who will be responsible for the minor as outlined in our waiver. Minors under the age of 8 are not permitted to participate.
- Our facility is ADA compliant, and our staff will happily accommodate any of our guest’s needs.
- You can bring your own axe if you are part of one of our leagues only and meets WATL requirements.
- Capture your time with pictures and videos of your axe throwing adventure. Please share them on our social media pages and tag @adkaxe on Facebook and AXE@ADKAXE on Instagram!
- Your axe throwing session will begin with a short introduction from one of our trained coaches, during which you will learn the safety guidelines and basic techniques of axe throwing!
- As an affiliate of the World Axe Throwing League (WATL), we host official WATL Leagues aligned with the WATL season schedule. We also offer other types of leagues and tournaments throughout the year. Please see our Leagues Page for details and/or sign up for our updates to receive more information as it becomes available.
- We have digital gift cards for purchase through our online booking platform.
- Axe throwing is safe entertainment as long as guests follow our safety guidelines and the instructions of our coaches and most important use good sound judgement.
- We suggest parking and coming in at the 99 restaurant entrance.
- We recommend wearing clothing that you feel comfortable moving in. Also, for safety purposes, all guests MUST wear closed-toed shoes.
- Axe throwing is the perfect activity for birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, divorce parties, gender reveals, team-building, corporate events, or just because! If you are interested in booking an event or want the whole place, please email us at info@adirondackaxe.com.
- We are a family run business and our time is very important to us. If we do not have hours that work for your larger group please feel free to email us at info@adirondackaxe.com or give us a call at 518-409-7966. We can discuss your needs outside of our normal hours to see if we can coordinate a time with you best we can!
- We do allow walk-ins if space and staffing is available. We begin our sessions on the hour so keep that in mind when you arrive. The only way to guarantee an axe throwing session is by booking in advance.
- We encourage all guests to arrive 15 minutes before their start time – especially if you do not complete the waiver in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot extend the end times for reservations to make up for lost time, as it would be unfair to the next group.
- You can cancel or reschedule your booking up until 72 hours before your scheduled reservation. Contact us by phone or email to inquire about a cancellation, to cancel or to reschedule. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for cancellations made within 72 hours of a reservation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
- We have a beer and wine license, so alcoholic beverages are sold on the premises. We do not allow any outside alcoholic beverages on premise. There is a maximum limit of 2 drinks per hour.
- You are more than welcome to bring your own food, snacks, and/or non-alcoholic beverages. We do have items for purchase.
